Engagement Ring Question
My boyfriend proposed to me with a ring that does not have a matching wedding band and because of the style I could not wear another ring on that finger. I asked him how we are going to do the wedding ring and he said that when the time comes he could get me a matching engagement ring and wedding band for my left hand and I could wear the engagement ring I just received on my left. I am completely fine with this. But, is this acceptable? Does it even matter as long as I’m ok with it?
I don’t care about that. It’s just traditionally there are two rings. He doesn’t mind at all getting me a wedding ring. That doesn’t answer my question…
If you love him you won’t care about something trivial like that, it’s not like it’s a 25 cent ring from the machine… and even if it were, and it was all he could do for ya, if ya really love him you’d put it on without even questioning it.
lol sorry… But I mean yea, tradition is important… but most important is the sacred bond you’re going to make… The rings, they are important, and they stand for something… But there are many people who beleive that marriage doesn’t have to be done on paper, or with all of the traditions… My main thing I was trying to say is YES it is acceptable, because if you really really love eachother then nothing else matters :)
