Which hurts worse?

My birthday is in 19 days. My mom has agreed to give me her consent to get my belly button pierced. My issue is I’m kind of nervous about how bad it’ll actually hurt. I have heard that getting the top done hurts more than the bottom. Is this true. Either way I want both done. Should I get them both done at the same time? Or would that hurt to much as well? Please let me know ASAP, I’m trying to all the info I can before my big day.

I got my belly button done about a month ago. I doesnt hurt that bad. Its like getting your ears done.

I wouldn’t get both done at the same time, just one first :) Personally, I laughed when the sprayed on the freezy spray and then saw the needle it’s big but honestly it DOESN’T hurt! Good luck and enjoy your birthday x

well I have both the top and bottom of my bellybutton pierced and I got them done at the same time. the top and the bottom felt the exact same (well it did for me). it wasent even that painfull tbh, at first I was worring about it but when you get it done you dont really feel it that much. the only problem I think getting them both done at the same time is when you are cleaning your piercing the two bars kinda get in the way and you have to take more care of it x

The pain for any piercing will depend on how well you handle pain. Keep in mind that NONE of them will ever be unbearable so I’m sure you’ll be able to handle it. Get it done however you think will look best. As long as you get in done professionally and take care of it you won’t have any problems. Don’t be afraid - there’s honestly nothing to worry about at all.
