I have been trying to find some figure skates for ages now and cant find a shop anywhere in the UK which sells them in a shop where you can actually try them on! Any ideas? x
you can buy online but I dont recommend that as the sizing can be different, and every pair of skates is different even if they are the same size. skating rinks usually sell skating gear, ask next time you are near a rink. if they dont sell skates, ask them where to get them.
make sure that when you do buy them, they are very tight, but dont give you cramp in your feet. maybe just tie them up as tight as you can and sit there with them on for like 10 minutes and if you get cramp they are too tight, if you can wobble them on your feet they are too loose. also buy blade protectors, and make sure you wipe them after each skate otherwise the blades will rust! :)
I used to have figure skates, and I bought them brand new off ebay, they were very good, but I never did it professionally so I got bored and bought hockey skates (: x
