The Black Card is so exclusive that you aren’t even able to apply for it - the only way to get one is by receiving a special invitation from American Express. Currently there are estimated to be less than 10,000 Black Cards in existence worldwide.

Typically the Centurion Cardmember, or the “Black” Cardmember, charges at least $100,000 a year to their American Express Card. Not only that, but the Card carries a hefty $2,500 a year fee just to have. So unless you’re spending that kind of money a year, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that exclusive invite.
