When I took the test it came out negative , but I have symptoms?

When I took my pregancy test it came out negative , though I have most of the symptoms you get when your pregnant ? Could I be pregnant even though the test said negative ?

Answer #1

To correct Ty, false negatives are not rare; they are not very common but they are not rare. Sometime it is due to testing to early and other times it is due to a bad batch of test or in the rare instance a woman’s genetics (a few women do not excrete hCG in their urine). There are women who get negative urine tests throughout their pregnancies. The only way to know for sure is to do as twilightgirl recommends and go to your doctor.

Answer #2

Call your OBGYN!…okay thats all you have eto do then you will go in and pee in a cup and then they should call and tell you if you’re not or are!.

Answer #3

Just to correc you Ty. I am pregnant with my first and started getting symptoms about a week or two before my missed period. My doctor says it won’t happen to everyone, but it does happen.

Answer #4

You could have taken it too early. But if you’re actually displaying signs (which shouldnt really happen before 3-4 weeks anyways), then it probably isnt too early. Take a test in another week. It is rare to have a false negative, but not impossible.

Answer #5

not to often but it happens you can be pregnant…you should go to your obgyn and sometimes its your body playing tricks on you from stressing about it… you should go get checked because being pregnant is nothing you can handle alone…
