Why is my period 16 days late, but 4 negative tests?
Okay, so my period is 16 days. Its never this late, I took 4 tests. They all came out negative. I dont know what to think. I’ve been having some pregnancy symptoms. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant?
There is still a chance, although slight, that you may be pregnant. The tests could have been defective, your hCG levels may not have been high enough yet, or you may be one of the small group of women that do not expel hCG in their urine (very uncommon but it does happen).
Also, your period may be late due to stress, illness, or changes in diet, exercise, or weight.
I would suggest that you go to a doctor and get a blood test done as this is a most accurate way to determine you status. This is also important because if you are pregnant you will need proper medical care and if you are not pregnant this could be a sign of illness.
