What is Asperger's Syndrome?

Answer #1

Asperger’s is mild autism that combats social skills and interactions in a negative way. Course, thats just the tip of the iceberg. Its a well kept secret that those with aspergers are typically genius’.

Answer #2

a form of autism.

Answer #3

They are not genius. They just think in a different way than most folks. It is generally easier for them to understand logics, machines, math and the like. And it is generally harder for them to understand emotions, hints, mimics and body language. The Aspergers syndrome occurs in different severity. Some people are just the classical “nerd” tending towards introvert or un-empathetic behavior and having weird interest in tech stuff. Others are completely unable to take part in normal social life and are sometimes perceived as heartless because they don’t react to people expressing emotion at all and are unable to express emotion. Which is very difficult for them, as they (unlike the psycho) actually have emotion. They are just unable to communicate it or understand the communication of others.

Answer #4

You would know firsthand?

Answer #5

She is right and I know first hand. I have a friend with mild aspergers. However he isn’t particularly genius (he is intelligent). He has trouble with like rotten said, hits mimics and body language.

Answer #6

Telling someone with aspergers that they are incorrect with the facts of aspergers is just a little suprising, is all.
