What would you reccomend?
I’m baking these iced sugar cookies… my dad suggests that I use cake icing, which I don’t really understand. Should I just go for making my own cookie icing? Or would cake icing taste okay on sugar cookies?

I’m a fan of the hard cookie icing. I’ve had cookies with cake icing on them, but the flavor of the cake icing tends to overpower the flavor of the actual cookie. Plus, to me cake icing is just way too sweet. But, if you’re going to go with the cake icing you should make it yourself from scratch. Pre-made icing just doesn’t have that awesome flavor that homemade icing does.
Cake icing would probably be really good!
Cake icing would be the best bet but personally I don’t really like icing on any cookies. So yes cake icing would work perfectly.
