What would costs be to buy ingredients for a restaurant?

Ok… I was just wandering… for a new business, a small one, how much do you think ingredients would cost.

The business is similar to subway… but for salads as well… so really.

How much do you think subway spend on ingredients per month per restaurant?

You have two options here - negotiate prices directly from the grower/supplier (the farmer) and purchase supplies at your local farmers’ market or from the farm itself, or check out a food wholesaler like http://www.bulkfoods.com, which would be a one-stop shopping deal.

Prices will vary depending on local supply and how good of a negotiator you are.
