I am writing a lovestory/drama/tragedy etc... but im having a writers block. :( And I need some ideas for a problem that totally splits the story.I know you would need a description os the story but I dont want anybody to steal my storyline,sorry.But just anything that would split the two lovers up and yeah yeah yeah.Just give me your ideas,suggestions,opinions...please? Breaking up a couple?
I got some ideas: - family disposition (like class difference or simply against the couple) - lovers quarrel (personal needs, family, differences) - love triangle (another character jumps in and creates a triangle) - misunderstood cheating (common) - a dramatic changes between the couple - either the guy or the girl is unable to meet due to tough schedule - frustration due to small amount of time together - "guy/girl is too good for other"
One of them dies? Like, literally star-crossed lovers. One of them has to move. Umm... If your story is set to the 'older' days, like, Victorian Times, or something, difference in family status. Love triangles are always so interesting. But don't forget to let the rejected character find a new love, too!! ^^ Umm... I think that nicky wrote you a lot of good ones... ^^
People always like a mysterious past. Go for that. Like he or she has a dark secret that as they learn more about the other they learn this dark secret. Or they are thrown into a mess because of their past.
