  I don't think there's an ideal pace. Apparently between 60 and 100 is normal. The slower the better apparently, without being dead. I can get mine down to about 60 bpm. If you're excited or if you're body is working (such as digesting food) that will raise it.

  Yours sound perfect. Mine is all screwed up. My resting hearbeat sometimes is like 110!
