What should I get for my teacher whos daughter just passed away?
Okay so my old 7th grade science teacher’s 25 year old daughter passed away. Its very sad and hes been gone for 2 weeks taking care of the funeral and things like that. I wanna get him or make him something, cause he was my favorite teacher ever. Any ideas?
Get some flowers sent to the funeral home the day of the service with a little “my thoughts are with you” card, thats what people generally do.
I had the same issue when my Psychology teacher’s daughter passed away last year. I got her a really nice card that said how much her daughter would be missed and how sorry I was for her loss, and then I gave her a pressed sunflower because sunflowers were her daughter’s favorite kind of flower. I also let her know that I was there for her if she ever wanted to talk and that she and her daughter were in my prayers. There’s not much else that you can do for somebody who’s just lost a child. Kids aren’t supposed to go before their parents. It’s truely a tradgedy.
