What's the best xmas gift for parents?

I am making a list of christmas presents for my loved ones. I wonder whats the best gift one can give to her parents.

There was a proverb I read about once with a student who wanted to get his teacher a gift. I cant remember how it went exactly but the story was about a poor student who wanted to get his teacher a very special gift. The student knew the teacher loved the ocean but they lived in a village days away from any beaches. What the student decided to do was to take a journey to get a bag of sand. It was the greatest gift the teacher got because the teacher knew it was such a long journey. The point is to dedicate yourself into the gift. I would recomend buying a peice of junk furnature and restoring it. Just look up restoring on google and you may find somthing that is cheap, but your dedication will make it priceless.
