What percent of the population is ambidextrous?

I was born ambidextrous. I didn’t teach myself or anything. I was wodering how rare this is? I’ve only meet one other person who is. And is it genetic?

im not sure about the populatiomn…but if the worls population of left handers is only 10%…then it would be less than that. its also not a genetic thing…im also somewhat ambidextrouse…I can write with both hands at the same time…in a multiple of ways lol

I would assume it’s definitely rare. I am right handed but I play everything in sports lefty (baseball, golf, etc.) without ever teaching myself either. But I can’t really write with my left hand. It’s kinda weird.

I am, it is weird. I play instruments left, usually write right, eat like a lefty, switch hit when I play softball. it’s fun thought because when I used to have write offs in school when I was younger I could do two pages at once (pencil in each hand) and the whole class would laugh. I had a lot of fun with it. I’ve never met anyone else who was though. I looked it up and it aid 1.1 %
