What is the real problem?

I told him I wanted to wait (the 2nd week we were dating when he wanted to jump into making out..) then I told him I was ready last friday and he agreed.. but we were on the phone so there wasnt much to do at the time… then on the phone sunday night he said he wanted to wait.. he gave me the cold shoulder all day yesterday until after fifth period when he said ‘he never saw me all day’.. last night he called telling me he was only calling to say goodnight. a 30 second conversation..

If you wanted to wait and he wanted to wait, why did you both say you were ready for it? Things are going to be a lot less confusing for you in this and future relationships if you don’t say what you think you ought to say and instead say what you actually feel.

But I don’t think this is ‘’about’’ anything. He wants to take things slow and make sure they are happening for the right reasons. Kudos to him for respecting you enough to tell the truth. Shame on him for not being honest in the first place.
