What is the most followed religion in the world nowadays
captainassassin is correct...except for the implication that religious faith in some way impairs orthography, which seems an odd thing.
One other point: religionisgood rightly points out that Christianity is divided into many denominations, but did you know that Islam is not a monolithic system of faith? There are many factions in it, too.
"most likly christianity I mean that like every religion thats based on christs teachings I've realised most religions lost their meanings over time and people follow what everyone else follows so idiocy could be counted as the most popular religion ever as well"
How does that not apply to christianity?
Supposedly Christanity Though a lot of people are stil in the closet about their religion so it's not set in stone. & though it may be the most followed, for now, it's not the fastiest growing. Within the next decade I wouldn't be surprised if a "closit" religion took spotlight.
sorry my qoute didnt pertain just to christianity I meant it in the way people follow a religion without realy knowing what it is like the many christians who havnt read a bible or muslims who follow someone rather than the teachings os allah sorry if I didnt clear myself up
...well spelled. Religious people can be so... polished.
Though you didn't answer the question. The Bahai faith is a mere drop in the global religious pool. Here's the top 5 in order...
Christianity Islam Secular/Atheist/Agnostic Hinduism Chinese Universists

If you count all branches of Christianity as one religion, then that is the world's largest. If you count Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant denominations as separate religions, Islam is the world's largest single religion.
Well it depends, do you mean practicing?
Most people are Chrstian but there are more Practicing Muslims in the world than there are practicing Christians. And Islam is the fastest growing religion.
The releigion that matches the world today and its purpose is Unity of humankind and the world is The Bahai Releigion.
I'd say it depends on the country, in the U.S. I'd say Christianity.
