What Is The Most Corrosive Acid?

Which acid is the most corrosive when comparing to human flesh? Anybody remember the movie “Aliens” ? That acid was unrealistically corrosive! Do we have anything that comes close to that?

Answer #1

My bad, I just took a guess, it is actually HF which is the most corrosive

when comparing to human flesh? not sure how you can compare acid to human flesh, however I believe the strongest acid is H2SO4 (I think…)

Answer #3

Probably a superacid (not H2SO4). There are superacids much more acidic than H2SO4, however the only one that I know of is triflic acid.

Answer #4

ATTENTION! NOT COMPARING ACID TO FLESH BUT ACID ON FLESH! THANK YOU.

Answer #5

So… in a science-fiction movie, you’re okay with aliens having acid for blood, but you find the ACIDITY of their blood to be… unrealistic?
