What is my bmi??

I’m 5”3 and weight 85 pounds which is like 6st 1ib. I’m 18 and eat when I want to which is like all of the time!! What is my bmi because my computer has gone a bit weird and is freezing a lot so it is hards to find out what it is.

with a bmi of 15.1 you are EXTREEMLY UNDERWEIGHT at this weight your period would have probably stopped leaving you either temporarily or permanently infertile your health would be very poor and your body would be extreemly weak you are also likely to either die young or die soon if you dont give your body any nutrients or fat you probably dont understand how dangerouse, unhealthy and FATAL being so underwegight can be I would recomend that you skip the doctor and go straight to the hospital asap they will calculate your bmi again to make sure and then if they think its that bad, and that you will die soon they will keep you there untill you gain enough weight so that your in a healthy weight range and if this is all due to an eating disorder they will both help you gain weight and tell you places to go to get help to get over your eating disorder you really need to go to the hospital and gain weight your life really depends on it

You said you don’t exercise… I bet that is why you are under weight. Exercise is not just for losing weight but also for maintaining good health in general. You will increase either muscle density or muscle mass… both helping you to gain towards a healthy weight. And not trying to scare you but it could be a tapeworm.

ok, well maybe your just predispoed to having a thin/small body fram and it could all be due to your genes and/or a fast metabolism

According to the site I used, for 5’3” at 85 pounds, your BMI is 15.1 It also says:

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

15.1 is your bmi. your very underweight . you may even wanna see a doctor cause I mean nicole richies bmi is 17 and you’ve seen how sick and skinny she is. your obviously not healthy. not trying to be mean but talk to your doctor. gaining atleastt 20 lbs will be good for you. any lower then that is underweight for your height. 16 and under for bmi is what they call the STARVATION bmi.. you must have an EXTREMELY high metabolism lol.. try to eat more high calorie foods. not unhealthy , but higher in calories! and maybe have protein shakes with your meals.

well even if you were predisposed to having a small/thin boody frame from genetics you wouldnt be that much underweight and how you got so underweight is also concerning so I dont think the hospital did there job properly if your bmi really is 15.1 they should have kept you there or at least told you about lots of places that help underweight people to gain weight because they rarely just send underwight kids and teens home and expect them to fix the problem themselves
