  I think poetry is important because poetry is imaginatively expressed through meaning, sound, and rhythmic language choices so as to bring to mind an emotional reaction. It shows your feelings and aspects of life. It shows a lot of emotions. Poetry is also important because it shows another way of creativity like funny poems or nursery rhymes. Poetry can also tell a story. This is called a fable. Poetry is a lot of different things to different people. When writing poetry it gets your mind going opening your creative side. Poetry gets you thinking realistically.

  that's awesome! I don't know I see poetry as a way to create the world. or put color into something dull, and brighten it up with words. it's like showing your heart out, without having to keep things in. (:

  I love it. Life is illustrated and put into words of poetry. It creates lovely images that captivate your soul if you're able to understand it. I love them a lot... :)

  Poetry. My sister loves it but I think it's how you feel like affection, pain I don't know but it's awesome!!!

  I love poetry. I write it basically everyday! :] it's the only way I can get my true feelings out.
