Do you think it's normal/okay for a 13 year old boy to call his father 'daddy'?

Answer #1

of course not depends on the tone of voice he does it in

Answer #2

I dont think you or anyone else should care what other people think if you wanna call your mom or dad mommy or daddy or anything else then it shouldnt matter what other people think, you hsould jsut do it. its your life not theirs do what makes you happy. if someone doesnt think its right forget them.

Answer #4

Answer #5

Sure it is! It’s his father- he can call him whatever he wants and what he feels comfortable calling him. That’s their relationship- it’s sacred, nobody gets to interfere and ‘tweak’ it so that it fits their personal idea of ‘normal’. (ok, unless inappropriate things are going on) I know several guys in their 20’s who (more so occasionally than normally) call their dad’s Daddy. Seriously, it’s nobody’s place to intervene and try to get him to call him anything different- it’s totally normal, and as he’s still a child at 13, he’s within the ‘average’ range that still use Daddy more often than Dad.
