Since I was 12 I always felt im not worth it because of what happend to me when I 3 years old now im 17 and I still feel like im not worth it...even if a realy great person so nice and caring to others I still have my iner demons saying to me im not worth it can anyone please help me
I'm a thirteen year old girl and a couple of months ago I was exactly like you. Depressed, suicide thoughts, that kind of thing. I got sick and tired of it one day, so I went into my room, turned off all the lights lay on my bed and thought off all the people who love me and need me to be alive. Jesus, my friends, my family. Then, I repeated positive mantras. I am loved. I am loving. I try my best at life and people appreciate me. I am truely a wothwhile person. Then, I cried a bit, fell asleep, and woke up thinking... Oh my gosh my life is perfect! Always remember you are smart, you are loved, you are the best person you can be right now. Also, remember god created you for a reason. If he felt your life wasnt worth living he wouldnt of created you! You are loved.
No matter what happened in the past, you can overcome if you choose to. It wont be easy, it never is, but God gives each of us the keys to unlock closed door we never dreamed could open for us. I'm sorry of what happened in the past, but now is the time to forgive the past, forgive what happened not because it was right, it wasnt, but to finallly be free from its effects. Now is the time to stand up and take your life back, one day at a time.
Yes you are worth living! Everyone is! You haven't done anything wrong and judging by you said since your sweet and caring thats another reason to strive forward! there aren't many people that are sweet to others and the world needs people like that! and you are one of them so do the world a favor and be a sweet as possible and only look at the positive things people have to offer!
if you think that you are not worth living just think of what jesus did for us and know that he loves you very much.
