I dont really plan on joining the military cause im against this war and the gov just sucks, but I heard you get a bonus and they pay for your college/university. I think itd b a good deal so im not in debt and I have a nice amount of money. And even this war is messed up, im interested in the combat and technology. I would def join if our country was bein attacked(dont give me that 9/11 b.s.)
also keep in mind the economy in the US is trash right now in 4 years of service (they are very negoatable to let you serve longer) the economy may have picked you will have learned a trade making it extremely easy to find work, being in that employers like to hire ex-military
the armed forces are not such bad idea right now but youre likely to fight so if ya scared you could just join try and get in the coast guard or something

WHEN I WAS A FRESHMAN IN SCHOOL, I DID THE WHOLE ROTC BS AND I HAD FUN (YEA I WAS A LOSER LOL) THERE ARE a lot OF BENIFITS WHEN IT COMES TO THE MILITARY. PLUS IF YOU PLAN ON going TO COLLAGE, YOU CAN JOIN WHILE IN THE MILITARY. SO I SAY YEA JOIN... JUSS BE CAREFUL :)
my boyfriend is 7 hes going to fort dix for military school on saturday and wont b back till july then he leaves at the end of july until november. he then wants to become a marine. at somepoint you will have to be gone for a long period of time but deff do it if you want
In my opinion..No..not really...If anything..if you were to join..do anything that keeps you away from seeing deaths...I've have relatives thats came back from wars TOTALLY messed up in the mind...But I wouldn't really like..recommend it..at all
Well, keep in mind that you will almost certainly be sent to either Iraq or Afghanistan and have good odds of being in harms way or a combat role. If you're ok with that, then yes, it really can be a good opportunity.
I feel you man... but yes . 12 people in my family are in the military and at the right time after training and what not the gov did help them pay .. like at the time 98% or somethen like that... hope this helps

join its not good to fight but you will be known as this insanely hott guy because most marines are so damn hott
If your doong it for college. Go navy or gaurd. Ull get best college opritunities out of it.
