What do I do, EPT says negative?

Okay so my boyfriend and I are always as careful as possible. We always use a condom, and I am actually waiting to see the OBGYN to get birth control. One time the condom came off inside of me after he had come, so we got the morning after pill. My period came normal that month. This same incident happened again about a week after I had started my period where the condom came off. We didn’t have the money to get the pill, so we’re just hopeful.

My period isn’t technically late, just by one day right now. Monday I had a bout with something I’m not even sure. I was totally achey all over my body and was nausiated whenever I got up. That lasted about two days, but I still have that weak feeling in my stomach, feels like there is a stone in it. (Which could also be I have been taking 800mg ibprofin for a wisdom tooth coming in, and it could be being flushed out of my system)

About Tuesday I took an EPT pregnancy test and the result was negative. I’ve never taken a pregnancy test before this, so I don’t think I would know (even after reading all the instructions) if I did something wrong. When I took it, it was three days before my period should have started.

I’ve obviously had the back ache, the nausea, and I’ve been cramping (like period cramps).

I’m not sure what to think, am I late or pregnant? Help!!
