Why do they keep coming up negative?

I’ve had an implant in my arm for about 11 months and it is supposed to be the best form of contraception. Theres like a 1% I can actually get pregnant and they say it’s very very rare I could. But I haven’t come on for a little bit longer than usual and I’ve had a few symtoms, so I took two tests to make sure (a week apart).. but they both came back negative. So what the hell is wrong with me?

I was pregnant this time last year and had an abortion after christmas, if it is that.. I don’t know how I could go through it all again, it was horrible.

Maybe I’m just being paranoid because of last year and I’m going to come on soon, but just wondering if anyone could help or something? Everyone keeps telling me to go the doctors, but I don’t want them to think I’m being stupid! ..Help?

Answer #1

If you’re coming up negative and using birth control you’re probably not pregnant.

Answer #2

well it could be that you are pregnant. do you have a uterine implant more well knowned as a “female condom”? or something of the nature of “nuva ring”? the best way to tell is by having a blood test dne by your doctor. my opinion, please do not abort except for in an EMERGENCY!

Answer #3

The uterine implant is not a female condom (one is a hormonal method and the other is a barrier method). Anyways, go talk to your doctor…
