Sweetie, I’m so very sorry that you lost your parents! I know exactly how you feel and how heartbroken and lost you feel without them! My father, passed away in 1980, which is 20 years ago! He passed away in his bed at home after a long illness! My mom and I found him! It was the most tragic and heartbreaking experience! My dad and I were extremely close and I could talk to him about anything and everything, no matter what it was and he was always there to support and help me! He was my Best Friend! When he died, part of me died with him. I haven’t really been myself either since he died! I have never, or will I ever get over him. That’s impossible! He will remain Embedded Deep in my heart Forever! I still wish he was here with me everyday of my life and I still cry for him everyday! The only thing that you can do, is take it day by day, remember all the good and happy times you had with your parents and know that they will always be in your heart and that they are watching over you! You can also talk to a counselor that can help you deal with your loss! There isn’t much else that you can really do unfortunately! Rest In Peace Dad! I Love You and Miss You So Much!

I dont think you’re looking at this entirely the right way… You’re not going to get over your parents dying. I dont think most people get over their parents dying. They do learn how to live with it. They figure out ways to mourn and grieve. They go through stages and emotions. And over time things become more bearable. Consider joining a grief group… Sometimes having people who’ve been through it can be more helpful then having an individual counselor (as much as I believe in individual counseling)

hey,I kinda know how you feel..but I dont know the feeling of loosing my parents.but I lost my son a month ago in 11-05-09. and he was my world. he was my first son. and he was my everything. he was only 6 months. and its hard. he died of sids. I know it hard to move on. they took something that meant a lot to us. I dont know what you believe in but trust me god does it for a reason. and maybe in the future he will probely would tell you why.. give him your heart and pray. and he will show you a lot of things that you might be suprised. even if you dont think his real.. pray and tell him..to show you that is there and he will..I promise.. he strong.. and if you need to cry do it..dont let it build up../ love jackie
