How often do you wash your hair? Everyday? Every two days? My mom told me to wash it every two days and I was like eww. Lol. I wash it everyday. But she says that it's unhealthy that way.
I was my hair every other day :)
And my hair still looks fine.
Washing it every day damages it.
And thats what causes dry skin (dandruff)
Because youre using all these terrible chemicals on your hair thats making your skin dried. Your scalp does need its natural oils. You may notice that your hair is taking a while to grow. Thats because youre not letting it have its natural oils to help it breathe! Its just like a flower. Even if you have PE, what I do when Im done is.. if they have showers, than go in it even if its cold.. I know, Im crazy. & rinse yourself off. You dont have to use shampoo or anything on your hair. Just rinse it really good & lather the water into your hair & wash out all the sweat :)
Dont shake or rub your hair dry though. Pat it dry! If you rub your hair dry with the towel, it causes frizzyness. It breaks the tissues in your hair and causes damage. Than blowdry it or brush it & let it dry a bit. Even if its damp, thats cool. It will dry. Put a pea size bit of conditioner at the tip of your hair & style it however you want :) No one would be able to notice :) Trust me. I took cosmotology at school & they teach you everything you need to know.
You should wash it every other day. Washing everyday will just dry out your hair and increase the chance of split ends and breakage. If you wash your hair tonight for instance and you go out then come home put your hair up and out of your face so your not touching it all the time and making it oily then take it down when your going to go somewhere. (My lil sis used to wash hers everyday sometimes twice and straighten and blow dry it and I told her not to so I've been trimming her hair and layers every 3 weeks and she's been washing every other day and her hair feels so nice and looks shiny and bouncy)
I wash everyday but your hair produces oil like if you dont bathe your hair gets greesy well if you stopped washing your hair it'd be really greesy for a while thatn if you washed it once after a while of not it would only get a little greesy and act as a natural shampoo. But b/c we shower so often it clogs up your pores or wutever releases the oils an it gets really greesy. If you got into the habit of not showering eventually your hAir would produce small normal amounts of oil whcih would act as a natural clenser...or so I've heard
It depends... it isnt like there is a formula that works for every single person... some people sweat more than others, some people have dry hair, some people have oily hair... whatever works best for your hair is good, as long as your hair isnt dry or breaking, then who cares what other people do... I wash mine everyday (if it helps, my doctor told me to do that to help with my scalp condition, so again, it really depends from person to person)
I wash it every 2 days and your mom is right about that! washing your hair every day damages it even more! its actually good for your hair to go without washing it for for a few days ik it seems gross but your actually doing something good for your hair
It's gross though. Lol you can feel like a bunch of oil at the top of yur head. Maybe I'll try every other day, but I can't do every two days since I have PE at school and it gets gross.
yeah washing our hair everyday dries your hair, a lot! your hair actually needs some natural oils to be healthy and shiny. I know because I wash it everyday. and my hair is always dry.
well it depends on what type of hair you have. if its fair, every 3 or 4 days. and if its corse,every 2 or 3:) but it doesnt meen you cant still apply conditioner everyday!!
I wash every day, I don't like my hair greasy it looks um greasy! lolz :) but I say hair is ment 2 b cept clean :)
