How come when I wash my face it gets red and doesn't feel refreshed like people say it would?

Mabe you have a sensitivaty to the soap that you are useing and if that is it you could get a soap for sensitive skin. The cloth could be an issue as well if if is rough. It could just also go red because … well it can .. or if you have a spesial clenser like proactive or clean and clear it will do that because the beeds and stuff in the cleansers are harsh on your skin.

First off what are u washing your face with? If u have sensative skin and your washing your face with an oil free wash it could cause the skin on your face to be dry. I used neutrogena oil free acne wash on my skin because i tend to get break outs and my face was extremely dry and very red. I now use “pears” soap it’s the mildest soap there is its transparent- i use the green bar that works the best for me.

use dove brand soaps and vichy products. vichys alittle pricey but worth it if u hav sensitive skin. also if ur skin is red and irratated jsut put sum aloe vera on it.
