How many vertices does a pyramid have
STOP! I do want to delete that answer, which I wrote in a hurry (neighbours were honking the horn outside, waiting for me)
Of course the number of vertices (or 'points') is one more than the number of sides of the base: each side of the base has its vertex, and then there's one more vertix at the top of the pyramid. Unless I have forgotten all my geometry.
That depends on the base of the pyramid. A pyramid with a triangular base has four vertices, one with a square base has eight. The more 'sides' the base has, the more vertices.
