Vaginal discoloration

My chihuahua’s vagina turned from pink to black after her last heat. She is 5 years old and it seems to be itching her. Sch scoots around on floor and licks it a lot. Is it a problem? Or is it normal for it to change color?

She may be suffering from a yeast type infection…Take her to the Vet…they will give you an ointment to put on her vulva area, that will cure it.
