Why is it unlawful in Oregon to drive without shoes?

it would take a bit of research to find that out. some countries have the stupidest laws. driving without shoes though is a pretty silly idea anyway. as most people wear shoes, its usually common sense to leave them on while driving. and it would be easier to slip if you drove with no shoes

it is also ilegal in ca. their are many reasons for it. the first being, you walk out to your car still wearing shoes, you sit in the drivers seat and then u take off ur shoes. if your like most people your shoes are still on the floor of your car between the seat and your heels. if u slam on ur break when your driving your shoes will move forward a little and can get stuck under your break.
