Is it true that if you move while getting an epidural, you can be paralized?

(my boyfriend told me that and ive been freaking out since he told me!)

Answer #1

Permanent paralysis - no. There is a risk of temporary paralysis, but where the epidural is inserted is too far down from the spinal column to do any real damage.

Answer #2

Idts. But when i had mine, i moved the first time. And they did a second one for me to try, I had 11 holes in my back and back problems still after 5 months.
