Torn Earlobe

okay so heres the thing, I got my ears first pierced when I was in the 6th grade. my right earlobe was biggger than my left one for some odd reason yet where I had them done at, the lady decided it would be okay and should work out. 6 weeks later when I work at taking the first earrrings out, the right one comes out nicely.. then, the left one..before I even reach to take the earring out, I cleaned around it and got the crusty stuff out that usually forms when your ears are healing, then my earring falls out..and then I look in the mirror, my left earlobe had torn, it didnt hold up with the earring.. and then I was feaking out, I didnt feel anything though like.it didnt hurt. Then I showed my mom, her and I both thought it would at least heal shut then I could mayebe re-pierece it. Now, 6 years later, I still have the torn earlobe. I have looked up online on google on how it could be fixed, sounds scarry.. and is probably VERY expensive. Has this happened to anyone else before? Whatt were your results afterwards..did you have corrective surgery? Tell me all about it, Thanks.

It probably should have had a stitch or two when it got ripped. That would have encouraged proper closure and healing. I am sure that the earlobe can be surgically repaired as long as you have good circulation in it. You will have to get estimates from various cosmetic surgeons to see how much it will cost.
