What are tips on being home alone for the first time?

It’s for about a week.

I would advise on inviting your very best friend to spend the week at your house especially now it’s summertime, you dont have to worry about staying up late or waking up too early. Watch movies, have a dance contest…try not to pig out too much at your age sometimes we tend to pig out when we are alone with no parent supervision to watch over or monitor our meals throughout the day & wind up getting sick from all the junk food/ice cream!

Just be safe, have a little fun & lock your doors at all times…:)

Thanks sweetie…♥ That is deff why I didnt even mention it…I know most Teens take this time to throw the hottest party (personal experience…my sweet 16 and I had a dj, finger food, & drinks and some people that werent invited from another school crashed my party & threw some bottles across the room…thank god no one was injured but we did have to call security & the clean up crew from the building!) So, no, I wouldnt advise parties without supervision at all!

If you’re going to have someone over (if you’ll use the friend idea), ask your parents if it would be okay in advance. By doing that you’ll be showing responsibility, and there really won’t be any surprises for your parents that way. If you have the friend over, let them know the house rules (ex: no parties, no other visitors, nothing too crazy) so that nothing does happen. If they say no, ask if you can spend a night or two at a friend’s place.

You should also make sure you have some emergency numbers down. Maybe you could gather some people you could call in your area if an emergency should come up. You should also see if you can get your parent’s hotel number or wherever they’re staying if needed.

Since they’ll be away for a week, make sure that if you have some spending money, that you don’t go spending it on silly things. If you need it, use it. Otherwise, save it for when you do need it.

Most importantly, be safe. Lock doors and such before you go to sleep. Don’t stay out too late, if you go out. And if you do go out, make sure someone walks you home. Don’t walk alone.

In no time, the week will be over. xD

At my “party” somebody turned on the keg and walked away…flooded the entire room and nothing short of new flooring could get the brewry smell outta there. I was in SO MUCH TROUBLE! :)
