How many times a month should I use a straightner?

i use mine every day, i dont always use a heat prodector for my hair. but it really deosnt matter if you staighten it everyday or what..if you have natural curls..than go to the store and buy products that dont ruin your natural hair. but if you are superstishes about using your staighenter everyday. just do it on the days you feel it is mostly needed. hope i helped!

Wow lolz. Just as long as you don’t use it everyday u should be fine- but, just to be safe, when you DO use it- make sure to use some anti-heat products:)

If you want to do it everyday or frequently just use a heat protector and you should be fine. but i would say once or twice a week isn’t that bad. If you don’t use a heat protector your hair will get pretty damaged and have other hairs growing on a hair (split ends) lol

I straighten my hair everyday and nothing happens…just make sure you use heat protecting spray, and I would recommend that you deep condition your hair once a month, because it can get really dry. You can find deep conditioner and Shoppers Dr.ug Mart.

They take out the static, i was going to try that- but you need to be protected from the heat, because that’s what gives ur hair the straightening affect and it damages ur hair, so be careful and use products(i swear that just sounded like i was talking about sex, hahaha that came out wrong- u get the point=Þ)

Lol by deep conditioner I mean you put a special conditioner in your hair, wrap a towel around your head, leave it for 30 minutes and then rinse >.< And I’m not sure how much the heat protection spray was…I got it from Shoppers Dr.ug Mart as well so it probably doesn’t cost that much lol.

No, chillz, that’s to help with the static. I have no idea how you thought that would protect your hair.

It’s not about being “superstishes”. It’s about people with /normal/ hair actually caring about it not falling out. You may be lucky enough to barely have to use any protective products, but regular people are not.

I HIGHLY doubt that hun lolz. I thought a giant, skinny black crane that was renovating a hotel was a CAR ANTENNA for gosh sakes! Lolz.

There’s no rule, you can use it every day and still keep it healthy by using a heat protection moisturiser
