How many times a day do I clean my navel piercing?

At least once daily.

Once in the morning when you wake up and once at night before you go to bed. Didn’t your piercer tell you this??

Well he said don’t use sea salt at all an ppl said to use it he just told me to clean it once a day with dial anti-bacterial soft-soap an said if you clean it more than once it means your not cleaning it enough so he said clean it once a day is enough but my navel is still red and I had it since aug.31 so idk what to do?

I commented on the photo and I think you should give my suggestion a go. You’ve had it for nearly two months now and it hasn’t healed with the soap. I used sea salt and mine healed in a month. Sounds like your piercer isn’t very experienced, or just doesn’t care.

I’d do it in the morning time because if you do it at night, your hole might close trough out your sleep.. and you don’t have to do it once everyday depending if it needs to be cleaned. U don’t wanna have your ear all irritated :P

Firstly, a navel piercing is not situated on the ear. And how would the hole close if she cleaned it at night? XD
