Is there a better technology for TV's other then LCD and PLASMA?

OLED’s or Organic Light Emitting Diodes are the most promising new technology. OLEDs promise thinner screens with almost 180 degree viewing angle, higher contrast ratios, instantaneous response times, a wider pallet of more vivid colors all while using less electricity. The two drawbacks now is that only small panels are feasible and OLED TVs may not last as long as LCD and Plasma TV’s. Currently OLED TV’s are avalable up to about 15” but when the technology advances to the point where they are larger and prove their durability LCD and Plasma will literally pale in comparison.

IDK, Everyone is changing to 3D’s & the LED’s But I dont hv the means for all that luxury. With HD channels still being limited to so many channels…I feel like My Samsung Plasma HDTV is still good enough for me! I think you need to go with both Budget & what’s convenient, not always what is the hottest new thing around! Just my point of view! :)

nahh I’m just looking for the best technology! I wanted to know if there is something actually better than the LCD and Plasma. Thanks for your opinion tho I appreciate it :)

LED is better in my opinion… plasma is my least favorite… images are too dull
