Do you think my teacher possibly sees me as a daughter?

I am a sophomore in high school and this is the second year I’ve had this teacher. Often after school i will go to her classroom just to talk and help her out around the room. At first our conversations were simple and shallow. As this year progressed Ive been feeling more comfortable talking to her then my own mom. So, our conversations got more deeper. I completely confide in her and she’s always willing to talk to me. She has two sons of her own, but lately I’ve been wondering if I’m the daughter she doesn’t have.

I guess so! I love having that friendly relationship with teachers. Some of my teachers aren’t married so they don’t have any kids. They say their students are like the closest kids/children they have, which in my opinion is sweet.

I completely agree. It’s always great to know you have someone close to talk to other than your own mom

i think it is good that you have made this connection with a teacher. some times i dont feel that with teacher (like most of this and last) and it just does not make school as fun but

haha, yeah that happened to me as well, my latin teacher was an old lady and probably none of the students really talked to her before, so for a while i randomly met her at the bus stop and so we talked about general life stuff, after a while she always stopped to have conversations in the halls and calling me to help her out with getting the projector etc. in the end she helped me get some grades straightened out by talking to our coordinator… without me knowing O_o sadly i have not seen her anywhere since i graduated i still want to thank her :)
