How do I swim when I'm on my period?

Unfortunately tampons or menstrual cups are the way to go. It’s not really hygenic not using them as you will be bleeding slightly into the water. If you are nervous, get the mini applicator tampons and start with them. Practice well in advance before you use them. Once you are used to tampons then you can consider a menstrual cup.

Everybody’s always told me that while you’re on water, like at the beach or something, the menstrual flow stops and when you get out it goes back to normal but not right away unless you’re on your first days and the flow is heavy, usually i just to in and wear a sanitary pad and a shorts and when i get out i put on the towell even if the flow doesn’t come out right away…just in case.. and then just go change in the bathroom. however…i dont do it if im going to a pool. i don’t like it but it’s your choice. nothings ever happened thank God
