Could I get my period while swimming?

ok, so I was suppose to get my period on the 4th but I haven’t got it yet and 2 morrow I’m going over my mom’s friend home to go swimming… Could I go swimming? would I get my period while I’m in the water? what would you do? ( I don’t wear tampons)

Answer #1

I don’t think you need to worry about that, because you’ll know if it come. If it come tonight… then you don’t go in the water.

Answer #2

Odds are not… something about water and pressure and your less likely to bleed or something like that. Doesnt your period start out slow anyways? like cant you spot it before it gets heavy?

Answer #3

If you feel that you’ll start your period while in the water, I wouldn’t go swimming at all if I were you. If you started while swimming, you could turn the water all red. So, to be on the safe side, its best not to go swimming at all. I’m sorry to ruin your fun but, you shouldn’t take any chances. When I’m about to start, and I want to go swimming, I say to myself, “I can’t” I get the cramping before I start so I know not to swim. Everybodie’s different in that regard. So, I’m only suggesting that you stay out of the water. You wouldn’t want to get embarrased would you? Anyway, have fun and do what’s right fore you. And if you feel that you want to swim, then be careful but, I’m only saying not to go in the water for you might start.
