what is a sweet birthday idea for a girl i really like?

i want her to be my girlfriend and i really want to get her something sweet and memorable, my friend suggested video-ing her friends and people she know saying happy birthday and stuff like that and make a montage and put it on youtube, i thought it was cool but he said i cant do it coz he plans on doing it to his girl lol but something really special and “sweet” “romantic” i dont know, ive been thinkng and cant come up with anything :/ can anyone help??

Something surprising and thoughtful. I hear a lot that homemade gifts aren’t ideal, but I’m not exactly a rich guy and I have some creativity to play with, so when something special comes around for my girlfriend I’ll do something like draw her a comic or write her a song or something like that. She’s always liked it.

The video sounds like a nice idea, given that it would be her friends or people she knows. You could add a little something to it by turning it into a scavenger hunt. You could make clues that lead her to this video, and you can get around putting it on Youtube by using another video site like Vimeo or even just burning it to a DVD (OR even leaving your computer up with the video ready for her to play).

The important thing, no matter what you do, is to make sure it’s genuine and thoughtful. If she has mutual feelings for you, even just asking straight out would get your favorable results. Good luck!
