This is random, I know, but how can you be a sushi chef if you don't cook sushi? (tee hee) ;)
sushi is devine I could have calfornia sushi every day if I had a chef at our place :)
btw you cannot cook sushi, they are maded ;)...and I reckon you could be a sushi chef even if you cannot "cook" sushi, thou the yummy taste factor would be in question lol.
I think you need to be patience and add the right ingredients etc to make good sushi ( I never attempt it b/c it looks way too tricky) and my girl-friends who have tried making them, lets say their sushi didnt turn out too edible :)
This doesn't really work but I guess that if you worked in a sushi restraunt and you cooked the rice or another food to impress someone you could say that you were a sushi chef. You don't have to be able to cook sushi but you do work in a sushi restraunt.
