Answer #3

your welcome :)

Answer #4

Not much more than walking with a broken ankle, I guess. They use anesthetics. And they prescribe pain killers.

Answer #5

well I’m in crutches with a broken ankle, it’s not that bad. I just want to know the after feeling.

Answer #6

The term “surgery” seems to come with the inescapable common knowledge that there will be pain following it. How much pain you’re in is related to how much damage needs repairing, and how pain tolerant you are.

Answer #7

I had four screws placed in my fibula after breaking my ankle when I was 14. The week or two following the surgery were the worst. Getting up to go to the bathroom was excruciating. My ankle was so swollen, it would shake side to side with every step I took with the crutches. It was worse than the ride to the e.r when I could feel the bone separate with every bump on the road.
