Are you supposed to eat the skin on a mango?

Really? i just ate a whole mango including the skin and it was delicious.. XD

Pfft I find it good, if you like the taste than eat it. Usually the taste of it just depends on how ripe the mango is among a variety of other things, but usually the riper the mango the better the skin is gonna be. So yeah, you can.

As long as you are not sensitive to urushiol (the substance in poison oak/ivy that causes a rash) then it probably won’t harm you. It may also help people against diabetes and cancer as it does have nutrients in the skin. It is a good source of roughage.
