I'd say it really depends. Think "lesser of two evils".
Sugar free generally means artificial sweeteners, which can cause problems, especially long term. Personally I have some big issues with some of them causing issues short term.
Sugar laden generally means all of the goodies we like that contain real sugar. Eating these can cause problems long term as well.
So pick the lesser of two evils.
Better yet, get rid of them both.
No, there are harmful chemicals that are used as an alternative to sugar. A little bit if fine, but when you start using sugar supplements in every meal/drink, it will affect your health and your heart.
No, what is generally good for you are fresh, unprocessed foods- lots of veggies, fruits, lean meat, etc. Skip the snack foods- too many calories, salt, etc.
Nope, definitely not, sometimes its even worse for you. Some of the sugar substitutes are nasty. All natural unprocessed food is best for you.
What about with gum? isnt it good for teeth or something?
