first, make sure you are getting enough sleep at home! & have a well-balanced diet. getting your daily doses of carbs and vitamins/minerals will make you feel much more energized throughout the day. also, perhaps you could exercise more? exercise equates to a higher metabolism, and this just means you'll be much more energized throughout the day. during class: drink water/chew gum... works for me! or throughout the day, you could snack on trail mix, or fruits (like oranges and apples, etc). these are high in fiber and offer carbs/protein for metabolism. perfect for when you need energy. :)
get to bed earlier, if you cant do that on your own then i suggest doing lost of activities during the day so when it's night time youre tired and ready for bed. Also eat something for breakfast, it really does help you stay focused, i eat a choc chip muffin every morning beforei go to school or work and it keeps me focused. If you feel yourself drifting off then start wearing a rubber band on your wrist and snap it when you feel unfocused.
Go to bed earlier, or wash your face with cold water before class, or ask for permission to go do so, take a drink of water, or have a friends warn you when your falling sleep, but the key is to go to bed sooner, no excuses.
lol i have the same problem. Just sleep earlier, drink tea or coffee or coke, do something exciting, exercise in the morning, stretch, listen to music that randomly gets loud. That scares me and wakes me right up!
Shove a pencil in your eye.....or go get a drink of water and like put water all over your face. then smack yourself. i do this all the time haha. or just ask to stand instead
I read somewhere that eating an apple with or for breakfast is actually more likely to keep you up all day than drinking a cup of coffee.
