How can I stop my deja vu?

Answer #1

maybe by doing something you have never done before?

Answer #2

You could see a psychologist, they know about these things. Other than that, you could just tell yourself over and over it has not happened before, that might help it after a while. Hope this helps:)

Answer #3

You can’t, sometimes stuff just happens like it has before. If it’s really happening too much then I guess you can talk to someone, see if there is a reason why you are having theese in particular?

Answer #4

I have it all the time. I always like to think that it was something I dreamt about and couldnt remember until the moment it acutally happened, When it happens to me I usually know moments before it happens because I am so aware of it, and some of my friends refer it to “my premonitions” even though I dont know until maybe 10 seconds before it happens, but it saves your life if its a car accident…Which has happened to me… So Dont think its bad. What I did was I tried to concentrate on my dreams, wright them down. Focus on what is happening around me and figure out what feels familiar. Go with your gut feeling because its usually right, you only usually are wrong when you second guess yourself. Even school teachers tell you that durring tests, they say if you dont know, go with your first answer.

Drink milk!!!!! It will not only stop your deja vu but it is also a great source of Calcium that supports the growth of your bones!!!!!!:D And if that doesn’t work …………… well I got nothing!!!!!!!!

Answer #6

You can remember. From my understanding, your mind tends to push unnecessary memories to the very back of your brain. This makes room for u to remember the more important details of your past experiences, dreams etc. There are billions of memories there that u don’t even remember unless hypnotised or in this case Deja Vu. With billions of memories, the odds are not that high for u to feel Deja Vu.

Answer #7

Deja vu is so weird, partly because it’s not what it feels like. Here’s what happens: Normally, the sensory impressions that enter your brain go first to your cerebral cortex where you become aware of them, then get stored as memories. But in deja vu, they get stored as memories BEFORE you’re aware of them - so then when you become aware, you already remember them just as though they had happened in the past!

This generally happens when you’re exhausted, under some kind of stress, or the like. Take it as a sign that you need to take care of yourself. Make sure you’re getting enough nutrition, water, exercise, and (especially) restful sleep.
