What has physical size of the brain got to do with the ability to learn faster? Elephants and whales have bigger brains than we do. As for brain weight as a percent to body weight, mice beat us out in that too. And using your logic, it would seem that men apparently learn faster. Which I have found no evidence of.

I believe Men and Women are on a equal playing field when it comes to intelligence, this is coming from a mans view. Boys at a younger age are more physical and girls more mental, get look at the way boys and girls take out there anger. Boys get into a physical fight, girls get verbal, and I am seen some really deep cuts with there words.

Even though they had the facts wrong, I do not think the user wants to know the size of the brain. I think they want to know more on the psychology of men and women. Coming from a guy I think I will never fully understand women, but I would not have it any other way.

Yes indeed. Most of the girls I know are mental, but I am pleased to report that some of them are quite happy to get physical as well.

Men and women have subtle differences in the way their brains work. Men tend to be better at some things while women tend to better at others.

On the average girls do better in school because they mature faster than boys. In the past Kindergarten was mainly social to get kids used to going to school. Now Kindergarten is like first grade used to be in an effort to give kids an early start. Girls are more likely to be ready for the harder Kindergarten than boys. The issue here isn’t that girls are smarter than boys but that they are ready to learn younger.

A new practice called red shirting is getting more popular for boys. The original idea behind red shirting was for boys to start kindergarten a year later so when they start sports they will be larger and better than their younger peers but now it is also done so boys will be better prepared for their studies.

Yes I know, my son is in 6th grade and he is taking Mandarin Chinese, Algebra, and advanced Science. When I was in the 6th grade I do not remember having any classes like this.
