Someone please answer the question: should I even try?

My ex-best friend and I had a falling out. More like she broke up with me because:

  1. we werent really talking much - she though this was not a big deal

  2. I slept with my really good guy friend– who was her ex- 2 years ago

  3. she told me it didnt matter to her but later freaked out and told me I had done her wrong.

  4. I refused to apologize because I dont think I did anything wrong at all- she hated this and said she had no more words for me

  5. I didnt feel bad at all.

Anyways, so here is the question. I have no hard feelings towards her. For goodness sakes we know each other for 7 years, still probably care a little for each other, but have become fundamentally different people. Before the summer is over and we both move back to other states I was wondering if it was a good idea to call her up and arrange drinks? Dinner? I dont know why…I am not begging to be in her life at all again, but maybe just want a better to ending to our long friendship? I dont know what she would say because she has changed so much.

Whatta ya guys think?

you should try it, you really have nothing to lose. worse comes to worse she says no and you leave it at that. some friends just aren’t meant to be in your life forever. if thats the case just let it go. also if you do want everything to end on a good note try to understand how she feels about you sleeping with her ex. maybe thats really affected her & try to see where shes coming from. hope I helped!
