If you mean streaming movies, the source should tell you whether you need any special software. Otherwise, just a media player should do it - but not all media players handle all file formats well, or they player might need a plug-in codec, as Joshua suggested. What kind of file do you have the movies in?
You should already have it if you have a Windows computer - it's Windows Media Player. If it's not working on there you may need to check your video file type =]
There is also something I use called K-lite mega codec pack. It plays ANY video and music format without problems. It's free too. :)
Otherwise you could download RealPlayer or QuickTime Player which are both free and usually work =].
Format? DVD and no it's not a bootleg copy
