Is holding in a sneeze harmful?

Every time I want to sneeze I sometimes stop it . What happens if I am going to sneeze, but then I prevent the sneeze from happening? Will anything bad happen?

I love sneezing! Why hold it in!? It feels good to let out a sneeze!

-Im not sure if it can harm you by holding it in!? I work with 5 year olds, and they all tell me that if you sneeze and hiccup at the same time your brain will explode!… maybe it has a connection? lol- joke

sneezing is your bodys way to get something out that shouldnt be there. soo..let your body do its job and dont stop it, you could have breathed in a virus and it’s rejecting it.. so just sneeezeee lol

Try and keep your eyes open when you sneeze.
